Dubois Cemetery
(Alaiedon Township, Ingham)
900 N. Every Road just south of Harper
Alaiedon Township, MI USA
Alaiedon Township has four non-active cemeteries.  Dubois, Foote-Rockwell, Strickland and Olds.  When these cemeteries were first established, they were family cemeteries as evidenced by the oldest headstones being that family and the name of the cemetery..

Dubois Cemetery was established in 1841.  Mr and Mrs. Martin Dubois deeded the cemetery to the township in 1842.  Over 130 individuals were interred in the cemetery between 1841 and 1925.  While only those listed on the marker have been identified, all are honored.  In July 2007, led by Girl Scount Allison Findlay, descendatns and volunteers restored and researched the cemetery.

Alaiedon Township does not own the land (the lane) that leads up to the Dubois Cemetery. There is a sign at the road that reads; Welcome to DuBois Cemetery Est. 1841.  No vehicles beyond this point.  You are welcome to walk to the Dubois Cemetery.  Please be respectful, stay on the 20 foot-wide easement as marked.  Please close the gate behind you.  If you are physically unable to walk, you may enter by vehicle, but polease stay on the easement.  Thank you, Alaieden Township Board of Trustees
